JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and improve oven/chamber equipment, including control systems, software, setup parameters, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operation.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, Lean practices, process optimization, and cycle time reduction.
  • Manage chamber spare parts, inventory, and supplier support to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support thermal stress testing, burn-in, environmental testing, and new product qualification activities.
  • Evaluate, qualify, and validate oven/chamber equipment and setups before production release.
  • Monitor equipment performance, analyze trends, and improve equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and energy efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, maintenance records, calibration reports, and safety procedures.
  • Provide technical training and support to manufacturing teams on chamber operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, ESD, Cleanroom, Quality, ISO, and regulatory requirements, and support internal and customer audits.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Process, and R&D teams to resolve technical issues and support smooth production operations.
  • Perform risk assessments, stop any unsafe or non-conforming equipment operation when necessary, and carry out other duties assigned by the immediate superior.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering/Computer Science
  • At least 1 yr of Equipment Maintenance/Testing experience & testing methodologies. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.
  • With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data. Strong interest in computer hardware engineering.
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting a wide range of desktop software and components.
  • Experience in equipment's Total Control Methodology.
