Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- To establish the process capability and the capacity/productivity model.
- To fully understand the process of the designated technology area.
- Process means method of operations or the way the things work in that area.
- He/she must be able to fully define and characterize the designated process.
- To define the PCP and improving critical process capability (as defined in the process control plan, product drawings/specification and BOM) To fully understand the necessary controls, equipment, precautions, setup parameters to meet the product specifications.
- Responsible for tester maintenance e.g Responsible for loop back maintenance, Responsible for first hand trouble shooting on pre-scan and Temperature failures if related to tester, Responsible for yield monitoring, Responsible for loading and unloading parts as per work instruction manual, Responsible for follow up issues from different shift, Responsible for identifying bad slots and closely work with 4C debug, Responsible for proper housekeeping, Responsible for adhering to process specification and Responsible for adhering to ESD procedures.
- Lead 4C Test Technician (in additional to the above) e.g Able to provide leadership role to all technicians and Engineering Operators, Able to make decision on minor issues, Responsible for follow up issues from different shift, Responsible for sending out shift report with status of issues, Able to guide technicians and engineering operators, Able to closely work with production, Yield and issue monitoring, Responsible for feedback issues to Engineers and Test equipment maintenance.
- Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
- Derive Continual Improvement. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
- Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc
Education & Experience
- Diploma in Engineering (Electrical and Electronics).
- At least 3 years experience in related industry and in mass production environment. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.
Skills
- With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data.
- Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in Electronics.
- Familiarity with test instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.)
