The opportunity
EY is seeking an experienced Manager to join our Business Consulting and Transformation Architecture team within Financial Services. This role focuses on leading large-scale Payroll and Time & Attendance transformation initiatives, helping organizations optimize processes, improve operating models, drive technology-enabled transformation, and enhance workforce management capabilities.
You will work closely with senior business stakeholders, HR and Payroll leaders, technology teams, and third-party vendors to deliver complex transformation programs across multiple countries and business functions
Your key responsibilities
- Lead and manage Payroll and Time & Attendance transformation programs from strategy through implementation.
- Advise clients on payroll operating model design, process optimization, and workforce transformation initiatives.
- Drive business process re-engineering and continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN methodologies.
- Lead project delivery across multiple workstreams, ensuring successful execution of scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives.
- Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders to gather requirements and define future-state business processes.
- Support clients in implementing payroll and workforce management solutions, including SAP SuccessFactors and related technologies.
- Develop transformation roadmaps, business cases, governance structures, and implementation strategies.
- Manage project risks, dependencies, and issues while establishing appropriate mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with global and regional teams across diverse cultural and business environments.
- Oversee vendor relationships, contract deliverables, and third-party implementation partners.
- Present recommendations, progress updates, and transformation outcomes to executive leadership and steering committees.
- Contribute to business development activities, proposals, and thought leadership initiatives within the Financial Services practice.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 -10 years of experience in consulting, business transformation, payroll transformation, or enterprise change programs.
- Proven experience delivering Payroll and/or Time & Attendance transformation projects.
- Proven experience operating as a Project Manager within large, multi-disciplinary transformation programs.
- Strong knowledge of payroll business processes, controls, compliance, and workforce management practices.
- Experience leading global or regional process transformation and organizational change initiatives.
- Deep understanding of: Agile Delivery Methodologies, Transformation Management, Risk Management, Governance Frameworks, Operational Excellence, and LEAN Principles
- Experience managing project financials, budgets, operational controls, and resource planning.
- Demonstrated vendor and third-party management experience.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior business stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Strong experience working within diverse, cross-functional, and multinational environments.
Ideally, you will also have
- Strong industry exposure within Insurance, InsurTech, Banking, Financial Services, or related sectors, with an understanding of industry challenges, regulatory considerations, and transformation priorities.
- Ability to provide strategic advisory services to C-suite and senior leadership teams while driving execution of complex transformation programs.
