Job Summary

We are looking for a Travel and Expense Analyst to join our new and growing Global Business Services (GBS) based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for travel expenses post-audit checks, duplicate claims checks and missing HOD approval checks. To communicate and act on the observation effectively with the stakeholders, enforcing quality control measures, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform travel and expense post-audit checks and use good judgement to ensure compliance with Global and Local Travel policies,
• Address post-audit findings to respective stakeholders and take immediate corrective action to close the items/gaps.
• Perform duplicate claims and missing HOD approval checks, and take immediate action to rectify the findings.
• To acquire an end-to-end understanding of the travel policy, audit profile & rule, thus, to be able to perform audit checks, query handling, etc.
• Perform report analysis assigned in a timely manner.
• Assist Local Finance with travel and expense-related queries.
• Highlight and work with the manager on the issues and escalations.
• Process improvement contributes to the enhancement of the overall process to improve control and efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven working experience in the T&E area.
• Experience in the Concur system will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to communicate observations effectively.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to articulate clearly in both written and spoken English, other language i.e., Mandarin.
• Able to work professionally with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external.
• Able to work collaboratively within a large team environment.
• Proactively explore opportunities to enhance and improve processes.
• Knowledge of MS Office and experience in Concur system will be an added advantage.
