Job Description
- Develop a pipeline of VC-backed startup companies in accordance with target/focus technology sectors.
- Conduct venture financing and convertible financing evaluation and due diligence on existing and new financing proposal application and submit financing and investment papers to obtain approval for financing, variation, disbursement, subsequent exercise of warrants and exits from investments.
- Develop exit strategies and mechanisms, including networking and engaging with VC/PE firms.
- Undertake identification, assessment and investment of issuers or borrowers listed on Equity Crowdfunding and Peer-to-Peer platforms.
- Liaise with frontline divisions on the management of approved accounts.
- Undertake corporate finance exercises.
- Participate in and contribute to all aspects of the financing process with responsibility for all quantitative and qualitative analysis of portfolio companies and funds.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking or its equivalent certification (ie ACCA, ICAEW, MICPA-CAANZ).
- From 2 to 5 years of working experience in Credit, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, and/or Venture Capital.
- Possess Interpersonal/Communication, Negotiation, Financial Acumen, Business Acumen and Credit Analysis skills.
