Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality VFX, AI-generated, and technology-focused video content for digital platforms.
- Edit and produce long-form and short-form videos, incorporating visual effects, motion graphics, compositing, and AI-generated elements.
- Develop visually engaging content using VFX, animation, transitions, sound design, and creative effects to enhance storytelling.
- Work with AI-powered video and image generation tools to create, enhance, and experiment with visual content.
- Combine live-action footage, AI-generated assets, motion graphics, and VFX into polished final videos.
- Translate creative concepts and briefs into visually compelling video sequences.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company's brand guidelines, creative direction, and visual identity.
- Optimize content for different platforms, particularly YouTube and YouTube Shorts.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of quality and meeting deadlines.
Must-haves:
- 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, VFX, motion graphics, or a related field.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin), with the ability to work with content in both languages.
- Strong experience with VFX, motion graphics, compositing, and visual storytelling.
- Experience working on AI-related, technology, or AI-generated content projects.
- Strong understanding of compositing, visual effects, animation, pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Experience integrating AI-generated visuals, footage, or assets into video projects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects.
Good-to-Have Skills (Bonus):
- Strong knowledge of 3D, CGI, animation, or advanced compositing.
- Experience creating cinematic visual effects, AI-enhanced footage, or experimental visual content.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editing, workflow automation, and emerging generative AI technologies.
