Job Description

Job Responsibilities
  • To perform and support RRU daily operational activities and regulatory reporting within Retail Operations. The Regulatory Reporting officer also ensure all regulatory reporting are prepared, remediated, reviewed and timely submission to regulators or relevant party within the bank.
  • Ensure regulatory reporting (i.e CCRIS, CRS, FATCA, PIDM, Financial Inclusion etc) are prepared, remediated, reviewed and timely submission to regulators or relevant party within the Bank timely.
  • Perform investigation of queries raised on regulator reporting and complaint to prepare and provide respond on resolutions on queries raised within timeline.
  • To ensure that all activities and processes are adhering to the rules and regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, policies, guidelines, Service Level Agreement, audit and compliance requirements and minimize all classifiable non-compliance items (i.e. SREF/JFA) related to non-submission, late submission, incomplete submission and inaccurate submission items and provide rational (if any) for the above.
  • Engage BU/SU to discuss and review issues relating to regulatory reporting requirement change and ensure timely submission to relevant party for concurrence / approval
  • Analyze all discrepancies on CCRIS data and attend promptly to the data rectification process on all data quality/ rejected data from BNM followed by bank's corrective/remedial actions internally (if any) and ensure closure to all such actionable items in an effective manner.
  • Maintain proper housekeeping of all data and documents according to bank and regulatory retention periods or requirements.
  • To support and follow up the assignment on audit issues to resolve all audit findings timely.
  • Perform any ad hoc assignment or task as assigned by RRU Unit Head from time to time
  • Support and manage any project development and revision which has direct relation RRIC

Job Requirements

  • A university degree holder or above in any discipline with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably with similar position and area in reporting, information management, data mining or statistics.
  • A strong customer service mindset with good communication, comprehension and problem solving skills.
  • Change management experience is an added advantage
  • Team player, self-motivated and Independent with excellent time management skills
  • High proficient in Microsoft Office/ Power Point / Excel applications.
  • Strong comprehension and analytical skills
