We are looking for a senior Talent Acquisition professional to own hiring across BlockOffice and its group companies, with a primary focus on Malaysia. This is a dedicated TA role — you'll partner directly with the founding team and business leaders to build out our teams across multiple entities and functions, from individual contributor to leadership hires.

The ideal candidate has deep, hands-on recruitment experience (in-house or agency/headhunting), ideally within financial services, professional services, Web3 or a similar fast-scaling environment, and is comfortable owning the full hiring lifecycle with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:

• You will work directly with our founding team to:

• Own end-to-end recruitment across BlockOffice and its group companies — job scoping, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and closing.

• Lead Group-wide talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning across multiple business functions and entities.

• Build and manage a strong candidate pipeline through direct sourcing, headhunting, referrals, and agency partnerships.

• Partner with founders and business leaders to define hiring needs, role scopes, and interview processes for both junior and senior/leadership positions.

• Manage the full candidate experience, ensuring a professional and efficient process from first contact to onboarding handoff.

• Track and report on hiring metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, source effectiveness) to inform • Group-level workforce planning.

• Continuously improve TA processes, tools, and employer branding to strengthen BlockOffice's positioning in the market.

• Stay current on talent market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor hiring activity across the region.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 5–7 years of dedicated recruitment/talent acquisition experience (in-house TA, headhunting, or recruitment agency) — this is a specialist TA role, not a generalist HR position.

• Senior-level experience required, including hiring for mid-to-senior and leadership roles.

• Experience in financial services, professional/corporate services, legal, accounting, or a related industry strongly preferred.

• Proven track record recruiting across multiple business units, entities, or fast-growing/scaling organisations.

• Strong sourcing skills across LinkedIn, job boards, referral networks, and direct headhunting.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills — confident advising founders and senior leaders on hiring strategy.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills in English.

• Comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of hiring outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
