The Finance Lead will oversee and manage financial operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy. This role requires expertise in accounting and finance to drive strategic decision-making and financial efficiency.

Description

Accounting: lead the Finance department with daily bookkeeping and accounting activities across AP, AR, and GL.
Financial Reporting: Compile and manage monthly and annual full set accounts, financial statements, and financial reports.
Budgeting: Lead the end-to-end annual budgeting process, including data collection from business divisions and preparation of budgeting templates.
Audit and Tax Support & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents
Cash Flow Management: Oversee the preparation, monitoring, and updating of cash flow forecasts.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement, standardisation, and automation to increase departmental efficiency.
Ad-hoc Financial Tasks: Contribute actively to ad-hoc finance-related initiatives and participate in system testing whenever required.
Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and performance excellence.
Business Setup: Lead the establishment of finance processes, controls, reporting structures, and governance models for new business operations.

Profile

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 5 to 8 years experience in finance/accounting. Also, prefer candidates with SSC experience
Financial Software: Experience in SAP finance function, knowledge of One Stream will be an added advantage
Good verbal and written communication in English. Knowledge in Chinese & Cantonese is an added advantage
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
