Job Title: Assistant Manager – Active Directory Services(Mandarin or Cantonese Must)

Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager – Active Directory Services is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's Active Directory (AD) infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, security, and performance of directory services while supporting business operations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Active Directory Management

Deploy, configure, and maintain Active Directory services, including Domain Controllers, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
Ensure stability, availability, and performance of the AD environment.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and directory structures.

2. Incident & Problem Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for Active Directory-related issues.
Ensure timely resolution of incidents in line with SLAs.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive measures.

3. Security & Compliance

Implement and enforce AD security best practices, including privileged access management and account lifecycle management.
Manage audit policies and ensure proper logging and monitoring.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

Monitor system performance and health of Active Directory infrastructure.
Analyze trends and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders for AD-related tools and solutions.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve system performance and security.
Support cross-functional teams on infrastructure and identity-related initiatives.

Communication Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively across multiple channels.
Proficiency in multilingual environments (e.g., Cantonese, Mandarin, and English preferred).
Experience working across different time zones and cultures.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Active Directory and infrastructure operations.
Hands-on experience with AD-related technologies and environments.
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

Technical Skills

Strong expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including Azure AD, LDAP, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
Experience with cloud-based directory services is an advantage.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified or equivalent) are highly desirable.
