Business Unit Intro - IEGG

Interactive Entertainment Group Global (IEGG) is responsible for the Global R&D, operation, and development of the company's interactive entertainment business including games and eSports. Through online gaming, live broadcasts and offline eSports, IEG assists the company in leading the global interactive entertainment market to create better interactive entertainment content experiences for users.

Role Summary:

We are seeking an AI Data Engineer to design and build reliable, scalable data foundations that support analytics and AI/ML applications. This role focuses on developing robust data pipelines, ensuring feature readiness, and maintaining high data quality and reliability for AI-driven use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to support analytics and AI/ML workloads.
Develop and optimize data warehouse and lakehouse architectures
Ensure data quality, freshness, reliability, and SLA compliance for critical datasets.
Support feature engineering, training datasets, and model inference pipelines
Improve data discoverability and usability through metadata management, data lineage, and documentation.
Collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and AI/ML engineers to enable end-to-end data solutions.

Job Requirements:

1–5 years of relevant working experience in data engineering or related roles.
Strong SQL skills and proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala).
Hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hive, Iceberg, or similar frameworks.
Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL/ELT pipeline design.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow (or equivalent).
Exposure to ML pipelines, feature stores, or AI-related data workflows is a strong plus.
