Reporting To: APJ Head of Cloud / FinOps Practice Lead

Role Overview

The Cloud FinOps Sales Specialist - APJ is a Malaysia-based, regional role responsible for supporting and driving FinOps-led cloud optimization, financial governance, and value realization sales across the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Sales Execution (APJ)

Support the development and execution of FinOps-led pipeline and revenue across ASEAN, ANZ, India, Japan, and Korea.
Act as a FinOps specialist overlay supporting country sales teams from a Malaysia hub.
Assist in driving cloud consumption growth (ACR / ARR) through optimization, renewals, and expansion motions.
Align FinOps sales execution with hyperscaler programs, incentives, and regional priorities.
Align with TD SYNNEX global FinOps leaders and collaborate with global teams.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

Engage IT, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders under senior guidance.
Participate in FinOps discovery sessions, assessments, and value workshops.
Help customers understand cloud cost transparency, governance, and optimization best practices.

Reseller Management

Work with resellers, MSPs, and SI partners on FinOps opportunities.
Support partner enablement and joint customer engagements.
Track partner pipeline and opportunity progress.

Required Skills

Cloud sales or services experience (3-5 years)
Understanding of cloud pricing and billing models
Strong communication and commercial acumen

CERTIFICATIONS (Preferred)

FinOps Certified Practitioner
AWS / Azure / GCP certifications
