We are looking for Director of Business Development (Leisure) to join our team!

This is a Clustered postion for Shangri-La Rasa Sayang, Penang & Shangri-La Golden Sands, Penang.

As a Director of Business Development (Leisure), we rely on you to

Implements all sales action plans related to assigned market as outlined in the sales plan . Attends major travel functions (ie trade shows and promotional events) and advise DOC of latest updates . Responsible for driving for business development of overall market segment . Responsible to host FAM trips and hotel inspection.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

College Graduate / Diploma in Hotel Management
3-5 years working experience
Have experience in managing Government portfolio
Has a passion for Sales and Marketing
Is a strong team player
Has a can-do attitude
Enjoys crafting creative and best-fit solutions for business partners and customers
Thinks outside of the box whilst leading change in the hotel
Understands the global markets and local environment
Effective bi-lingual in English & Malay in both written and verbal.
Has relevant experience of handling corporate and wholesales
Computer Skills Including Microsoft Word & Excel
Has strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to engage in a friendly and professional manner with business partners and customers
