Reporting To: APJ Head of Cloud / FinOps Practice Lead

ROLE OVERVIEW
The Cloud FinOps Sales Specialist - APJ is a Malaysia-based, regional role responsible for supporting and driving FinOps-led cloud optimization, financial governance, and value realization sales across the Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Sales Execution (APJ)
- Support the development and execution of FinOps-led pipeline and revenue across ASEAN, ANZ, India, Japan, and Korea.
- Act as a FinOps specialist overlay supporting country sales teams from a Malaysia hub.
- Assist in driving cloud consumption growth (ACR / ARR) through optimization, renewals, and expansion motions.
- Align FinOps sales execution with hyperscaler programs, incentives, and regional priorities.
- Align with TD SYNNEX global FinOps leaders and collaborate with global teams.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage IT, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders under senior guidance.
- Participate in FinOps discovery sessions, assessments, and value workshops.
- Help customers understand cloud cost transparency, governance, and optimization best practices.

Reseller Management
- Work with resellers, MSPs, and SI partners on FinOps opportunities.
- Support partner enablement and joint customer engagements.
- Track partner pipeline and opportunity progress.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Cloud sales or services experience (3-5 years)
- Understanding of cloud pricing and billing models
- Strong communication and commercial acumen

CERTIFICATIONS (Preferred)
- FinOps Certified Practitioner
- AWS / Azure / GCP certifications
