Your Impact

As a Consulting Engineer, you will support the design and deployment of robust Service Provider solutions that drive key business outcomes.

You will assist in the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, helping to translate customer requirements into scalable architectures under the guidance of senior team members.

By partnering with Senior Engineers, you will contribute to the alignment of solution designs with customer goals throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will provide essential technical assistance to support the resolution of network issues and contribute to the team by documenting processes, sharing knowledge, and supporting the development of repeatable delivery frameworks to enhance overall practice efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires BS/BE/BTech degree or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience in a similar job role.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers
Service Provider related certification (CCNA, CCNP) is helpful and you have a drive for continuous learning.
Knowledge of L2 / L3 networking protocols and technologies (IPv4/IPv6, STP/RSTP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, QoS, Multicast).
Knowledge of Unified MPLS Architecture
Knowledge and hands-on experience on Cisco or any 3rd party routers and switches.
Has knowledge of overlay technologies L2VPN and L3VPN.
Has basic knowledge and understandings of Cisco SDN based technologies such as Segment Routing.

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of relevant Cisco technologies and delivery methods and builds skills in articulating technical concepts.
Foundational consulting and collaboration skills.
Knowledge and hands-on experience on ASR9k NCS55xx and Cisco 8k platforms.
Knowledge of software programmability, automation (Python, GitHub, Ansible, Terraform and so on), orchestration, and/or virtualization technologies
Leverages AI and automation to enhance delivery efficiency, innovation and customer outcomes, while also increasing personal productivity and focus on high-impact work.
Proficiency in an additional language (Japanese) is preferred.
