Ansell is looking for a Intern, Engineering to join our team in Melaka, Malaysia.

In this position you will play a vital role in support continuous improvement initiatives within a glove manufacturing environment. This role focuses on enhancing production efficiency, reducing waste, improving quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes, including dipping, curing, inspection, and packaging operations.

Responsibility: -

Assist the Engineering team in daily operational and technical activities.
Support engineering projects related to process improvement, production efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost optimization.
Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support engineering decisions.
Assist in preparing technical documentation, work instructions, reports, and presentations.
Support equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and engineering studies as assigned.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance, to support project execution.
Assist in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing improvement initiatives.
Support compliance with safety, quality, and company standards in all engineering activities.
Participate in meetings, project reviews, and problem-solving discussions.
Perform basic statistical analyses on datasets, including descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and basic predictive modeling under the guidance of senior data analysts.
Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Engineering team.

What you will bring

Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as Python, R, or similar programming languages.
Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to convey findings and insights effectively.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Prior experience with data analysis projects or coursework is a plus.
