Ansell is looking for a Intern, Engineering to join our team in Melaka, Malaysia.
In this position you will play a vital role in support continuous improvement initiatives within a glove manufacturing environment. This role focuses on enhancing production efficiency, reducing waste, improving quality, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to manufacturing processes, including dipping, curing, inspection, and packaging operations.
Responsibility: -
- Assist the Engineering team in daily operational and technical activities.
- Support engineering projects related to process improvement, production efficiency, quality enhancement, and cost optimization.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and reporting to support engineering decisions.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation, work instructions, reports, and presentations.
- Support equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and engineering studies as assigned.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance, to support project execution.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Support compliance with safety, quality, and company standards in all engineering activities.
- Participate in meetings, project reviews, and problem-solving discussions.
- Perform basic statistical analyses on datasets, including descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and basic predictive modeling under the guidance of senior data analysts.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by the Engineering team.

What you will bring
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as Python, R, or similar programming languages.
- Basic understanding of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to convey findings and insights effectively.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Prior experience with data analysis projects or coursework is a plus.
