Responsibilities

1) Operation Supervision - Oversee daily cleaning operations, including routine cleaning, washroom hygiene, and waste disposal services, to ensure all tasks are completed to prescribed quality standards.
2) Quality Control & Inspection - Conduct regular inspections of all assigned areas, including guest floors and public spaces, to ensure compliance with cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards and to rectify any issues promptly.
3) Team Leadership & Training - Supervise, motivate, and provide training to housekeeping staff, establishing clear standards and fostering a positive work environment to enhance team performance and morale.
4) Inventory & Resource Management - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and guest amenities (e.g., toilet tissue, soap, toothbrush), ensuring adequate par stock levels and proper storage to support uninterrupted operations.
5) Maintenance & Safety - Patrol the building to identify and report maintenance faults, damage to machines, furniture, or fittings, and ensure a safe working environment compliant with health and safety regulations.
6) Issue Resolution & Guest Service - Respond professionally to staff and guest complaints, special requests, and resolve any operational conflicts or issues that occur on the job to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
7) Contractor Coordination - Supervise and monitor the performance of service providers and contractors on-site, assisting the Operation Executive in compiling reports on their performance and work progress.
8) Project & Administrative Support - Assist the Operation Executive with administrative tasks, including completing maintenance reports, managing schedules and shift replacements, and participating in large-scale cleaning or special projects

Requirements

Qualifications & Education
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent to a high school diploma.

Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping operations.

Technical Knowledge / Skills
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and industry-specific cleanliness standards.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals, equipment, and hazardous materials.
Ability to identify and report maintenance faults and damage to machines, furniture, and fittings.
Inventory management skills to monitor and control par stock of cleaning products, tissue, soap, and hardware items.
Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements for housekeeping and sanitation.
Knowledge of pest control and sanitization work schedules
