The Role

The AI & IT Solutions Executive will be the primary technical owner for AI and IT-related systems across Ulink Assist.

This is a hands-on role. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, implement and improve systems, investigate root causes, test solutions, monitor performance and take ownership until problems are properly resolved.

You will also support the rollout of new AI, automation and technology solutions, working closely with the Project Manager, Software Engineer, Operations Support team and external vendors.

This role suits someone who is technically strong, resourceful and proactive — particularly someone who looks for potential problems before they affect operations and has a strong interest in AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), automation and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI & IT Troubleshooting

Act as the main point of contact for AI and IT-related technical issues across the company.
Investigate, diagnose and resolve issues involving AI systems, software, integrations, automation workflows, websites, databases, telephony systems and other technology platforms.
Identify root causes rather than applying temporary fixes.
Work with internal teams, developers and vendors where required, and take ownership until issues are properly resolved.

2. Implementation & System Rollout

Develop, configure, test and implement new AI, IT, automation and digital solutions with the Project Manager and relevant teams.
Support system integrations, UAT, deployment and post-implementation improvements.
Monitor new system rollouts closely and identify weaknesses or potential failures before they affect operations.
Resolve implementation issues and help stabilise systems after launch.

3. System Monitoring, Audit & Preventive Maintenance

Monitor systems, integrations, logs and performance to identify potential problems early.
Conduct regular technology and system reviews to identify gaps, vulnerabilities, recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
Implement preventive and corrective measures to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Support cybersecurity, access controls, user permissions and technology risk management.

4. AI, Automation & Technology Improvement

Work with LLMs, APIs, databases, SQL, automation tools and related technologies.
Work with platforms including Claude, n8n, Zoho, WhatsApp Business, Facebook, Instagram, telephony systems, chatbots and voicebots.
Identify practical opportunities to improve operations through AI, automation and technology.
Evaluate and recommend improvements to existing systems, tools and processes.
Keep current with relevant developments in AI, LLMs, automation and emerging technologies.

5. Documentation & Coordination

Maintain clear documentation of technical issues, root causes, solutions, system changes, configurations, testing and audits.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, Software Engineer, Operations teams and external vendors to drive technical work through to completion.
Communicate technical issues, risks, progress and solutions clearly to management and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, software engineering or a related field, or equivalent relevant practical experience.
Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across software, systems, integrations and technology.
Familiarity with LLMs and AI platforms such as Claude, APIs, databases/SQL, n8n or similar automation tools, and basic coding or scripting.
Experience working with business systems such as Zoho, Meta platforms and integrations, telephony systems, websites, cloud applications or automation tools.
Able to implement, test, deploy, monitor and improve technology solutions.
Proactive and resourceful, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of problems through to resolution.
Able to work effectively with internal teams, developers and external vendors.
Healthcare, insurance, TPA industry experience is an advantage.

This position reports directly to the General Manager.
