Overview

As a technical sales development representative, your primary responsibility will be to identify and capitalize on robust sales opportunities by effectively profiling prospective customers, understanding their specific needs, and driving new business through both outbound and inbound campaigns with a strong focus on security.

Your role will extend beyond mere sales, as you will play a crucial part in helping businesses enhance their collaboration, accelerate their pace, and foster innovation. You will work towards individual targets but will also be part of a larger sales team with a focus to grow our customer base across APAC. You will be in a phone-based environment, where you will interact with customers primarily via outbound calls

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in any discipline; a technical degree is an advantage.
Fluent in Mandarin (spoken and written).
Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably in outbound sales within the IT industry.
Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts, particularly cloud platforms.
Comfortable working in a quota-driven, phone-based sales environment.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic environment.
Strong analytical thinking and a proactive, results-driven attitude.
Self-motivated with the ability to achieve individual and team goals.
Excellent organizational, pipeline management, time management, and prioritization skills.
Proficient in computer applications and comfortable navigating multiple systems and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud Computing and/or Cyber Security certifications.
B2B sales experience in the Cyber Security industry.
Goal-oriented, proactive, confident, competitive, and resilient mindset.
Strong understanding of the local market and business landscape.

Responsibilities

Achieve quarterly Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) and meet daily and weekly activity targets.
Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts to identify high-potential prospects for new business opportunities and account growth.
Execute outbound prospecting activities to identify, contact, and engage potential customers.
Educate prospects on the company's solutions, products, and services.
Conduct daily outbound calls and email outreach, primarily through cold calling, to engage with C-level decision-makers.
Build rapport quickly, uncover business challenges, and assess customer needs.
Understand prospects pain points and gather relevant technical and business requirements.
Apply a consultative, solution-selling approach by aligning customer needs with available Cloud Security solutions.
Create value-driven sales opportunities and move qualified prospects through the sales pipeline effectively.
