To analyze, visualise and interpret facilities management data to support informed decision-making and drive performance optimization across building systems.
This role plays a key part in integrating data from IoT, BMS, CMMS and other platforms developing insights for predictive maintenance, energy efficiency and asset lifecycle planning in support of FM operational excellence.
To bridge Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) systems, enabling seamless integration that enhances data visibility, system efficiency, and informed decision-making across the organisation.
Main Accountabilities
System Data Integration Extract and clean data from various platforms (BMS, CMMS, IoT systems) for unified analysis. Ensure data accuracy, consistency and integrity across sources. Demonstrates a strong interest in system architecture and a keen understanding of overall system design to effectively identify and resolve data-related issues..
Performance Analytics Analyze HVAC, lighting, and energy system performance to identify inefficiencies. Generate reports highlighting energy usage patterns, fault trends and optimization opportunities. Ability to interpret data and transform it into compelling storytelling for reporting purposes to support informed decision-making is a strong advantage.
Predictive Modelling Develop or maintain AI/ML models that predict equipment failures or energy spikes. Continuously refine models using real-time and historical FM data.
Dashboard Management Build and maintain user-friendly dashboards for energy consumption, asset health and fault diagnostics. Ensure dashboards are updated with real-time data for executive and managerial review.
Support Continuous Improvement Analyze pilot project results and provide insights on what's working or needs enhancement. Recommend adjustments to algorithms or thresholds based on performance feedback.
Collaboration & Innovation Work closely with engineers, system integrators and IT to improve analytics capability. Stay current with FM tech trends and propose relevant tools or solutions for adoption.
Requirements
Education Qualification Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related fields. Training or certification in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, SQL, Excel) is an added advantage.
Years of Experience 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting or data-related roles. Exposure to Facilities Management systems (e.g., BMS, CMMS, CAFM) or building performance analytics is beneficial but not mandatory.
