Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Assistant/Assistant Accountant, located in Kuching. The role involves performing day-to-day accounting tasks such as managing credit control, handling petty cash, processing financial transactions, and assisting with overall accounting functions. The Assistant will also provide support in maintaining financial records to ensure accuracy, assist with regular reporting, and provide essential support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Accounting practices and principles
  • Effective Communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to task management
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with professional accreditation aligned with Australian standards
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software is a plus
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment
