This is a full-time, on-site role for an Account Assistant Manager located in Kuala Terengganu. The Account Assistant Manager will oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and support the development of efficient accounting policies and procedures. The role also involves managing client relationships, assisting in audits, and mentoring junior staff to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role may involve collaborating across teams to support financial planning and advisory tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Analytical Skills
  • Experience in Taxation, Compliance, and Financial Audits
  • Strong Leadership, Team Management, and Communication Abilities
  • Proficiency in using Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work on-site and handle multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Membership or eligibility to be a member in a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) is preferred
  • Prior experience in a professional services firm is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian financial reporting standards and regulations
