Job Description

Position: Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting with daily accounting tasks and supporting general office operations. This role is suitable for candidates who have basic knowledge in accounting and possess good organizational and document management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and recording invoices, receipts, payment bills, and vouchers.
  • Maintain and manage the company's financial records, ensuring all files are updated and organized.
  • Assist in preparing basic financial reports and monthly statements.
  • Handle petty cash payments and perform bank reconciliation.
  • Support audit processes and assist in preparing and submitting financial documents.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing related documents.
  • Work closely with the accounts team to ensure all transactions are accurate and completed on time.

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and good time management skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Prior experience as an accounts assistant or in administration is an added advantage.

Working Hours:

Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM (Half-day on Saturday if required).
