Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Account cum HR Manager to join our team in WP Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time, on-site role reporting directly to the CEO.

The Manager will play a key role in overseeing both Accounting and Human Resource functions, ensuring that business operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance:

Manage all accounting activities, including financial reporting, general ledger, and compliance.

Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure timely and accurate issuance of financial statements.

Prepare and monitor project budgeting, perform cash flow forecasting, and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.

Supervise accounting staff, ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines.

Collaborate with internal teams to monitor account performance and oversee project execution.

Human Resource Management

Manage the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new hires.

Continuously review and improve existing HR policies and procedures, and implement better practices to support organizational growth.

Provide HR support to employees, addressing workplace concerns and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Assist in performance management, employee engagement initiatives, and training & development programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance,Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent (preferred for accounting roles).

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in HR or people management.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.

Familiarity with Malaysian labor laws, HR policies, and recruitment processes.

Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under tight deadlines.

Ability to balance multiple responsibilities across both Accounts and HR functions.
