Job Description
1. Financial Reporting
- Lead the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS/MFRS) and internal accounting policies.
- Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliation processes.
2. Management Reporting & Financial Planning
- Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, financial forecasts, and performance dashboards.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and manage the company's financial performance, KPIs, and budget variances.
3. Statutory & Tax Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with local statutory and tax regulations.
- Manage timely completion of statutory filings, tax submissions, and regulatory reporting.
- Coordinate with local finance teams, tax agents, external auditors and legal advisors to address compliance risks and resolve issues.
4. Governance, Risk Management & Internal Controls
- Develop, implement and maintain effective financial controls and policies.
- Identify, assess and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and local regulatory requirements.
5. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and develop the finance function, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Promote collaboration and effective communication across departments to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or with a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA).
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry with external audit background.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/MFRS, tax regulations, statutory reporting, and internal controls.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
