A Listed Construction Company is Looking for an Accounting Executive (based in Puchong)

What you'll need to succeed
Reporting to the finance manager, you will be in charge of:
- Oversee accounting operations for designated projects or functional areas, ensuring financial records and management reports are prepared accurately and within established timelines.
- Work closely with project stakeholders and internal departments to maintain effective accounting workflows and proper financial documentation.
- Review and validate financial transactions to ensure costs are appropriate and in line with approved objectives.
- Track, manage, and control financial budgets in accordance with plans set by senior management.
- Support the development, enhancement, and implementation of finance and accounting policies, processes, and internal controls.
- Manage financial communications with external parties, including receivables and payables matters.
- Maintain organised financial records and filing systems to allow timely access to required information.
- Lead, guide, evaluate, and provide training to team members to ensure performance standards are met.
- Carry out additional finance-related duties as delegated by management.
What you'll get in return
To be successful, you will need to possess:
- Minimum Degree/Diploma in Accounting & Finance. Possessing a professional qualification (ACCA/MACPA/CIMA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in accounting functions - Fresh Big4/10 auditors are welcomed to apply.
