NSTY Worldwide Sdn Bhd, one of Malaysia's leading global ENDS brands present in is expanding its Commercial Finance team. We are looking for a meticulous, bilingual Account Executive to support our group entities across Malaysia, the Middle East, and China.
This role reports directly to the Finance Manager and works closely with our counterparts in Shenzhen, China. Mandarin proficiency (spoken and written) is essential.
Main Purpose of the Role
The Account Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records across cash, bank, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. The role ensures timely and precise recording of financial transactions, performs regular reconciliations, and prepares financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP / IFRS). The position also provides actionable financial insights to support management decision-making and liaises with internal and overseas stakeholders, particularly our Chinese counterparts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records covering cash, bank, AP, AR, general ledger, and journal entries
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts
- Liaise with related stakeholders to ensure financial records are completed in a timely manner
2. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with GAAP / IFRS
- Generate income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and budget vs. actual analyses
- Provide financial analysis and insights to management for strategic planning and decision-making
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage AP functions including invoice processing, expense verification, and timely vendor payments
- Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue accounts in coordination with the Sales and Customer Service teams
- Reconcile AP and AR balances against external stakeholders Statements of Account (SOA)
4. Financial Systems & Processes
- Utilise accounting software and financial systems effectively to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maintain data integrity
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all financial workflows
5. Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including overseas business partners
- Work closely with Chinese counterparts and stakeholders based in Shenzhen, China, to support cross-border financial operations

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional qualification (ACCA / CPA / MIA part-qualified is an added advantage)
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or group environment
- Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is mandatory — the role requires daily communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders in Shenzhen
- Working knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS reporting standards
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (SQL Account, Autocount, Xero, SAP, or equivalent)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliation models)
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work under tight reporting deadlines
- Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
- Experience supporting overseas entities (Middle East / China) is a strong advantage
