Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Handle the account payable function, including liaising with suppliers, performing 3-way matching, processing invoices, preparing supplier payments, and performing supplier reconciliations.
  2. Submit self-billed invoices to LHDN via the online portal.
  3. Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems.
  4. Manage and update the fixed assets module.
  5. Assist in month-end closing activities and participate in stocktake exercises.
  6. Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requirements.
  7. Analyse monthly financial performance, production variances, and cost fluctuations.
  8. Involved in daily routine finance operations.
  9. Perform any other duties assigned by the superior or any other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements

  1. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  3. Hands-on experience in accounts payable, 3-way matching, fixed assets, and month-end closing.
  4. Good understanding of costing, production variances, and inventory/stock movement in a manufacturing setup.
  5. Familiar with LHDN requirements, SST regulations, and basic tax compliance.
  6. Strong attention to detail with good organisational and documentation skills.
  7. Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  8. Good communication skills and able to liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and auditors.
