We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage costing and budgeting activities, supporting financial control and management decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in manufacturing cost structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review Bill of Materials (BOM) and product settings; liaise with relevant departments to ensure costing accuracy.
- Prepare, maintain, and update product cost including material and overhead components.
- Support budget preparation, monitor budget utilization, and track progress against plan.
- Assist in pricing and margin analysis to support management decision-making.
- Perform inventory movement transactions and postings in the General Ledger (GL).
- Carry out account balancing and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Monitor, analyze, and report cost and budget variances, highlighting key issues and trends.
- Support physical asset and inventory verification exercises.
- Assist and report to the Section Head on costing, budgeting, and analysis matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in costing and budgeting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and budgeting processes.
- Proficient in Excel and accounting systems.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
