Job Description

Position: Account Executive / Senior Account Executive

Working Hour: Mon- Fri, 8 - 5:30pm

Compensation: RM10/ Day (Meal), RM300/ Month (Fixed Transport), RM 40/ Month (Fixed Phone)

Department: Finance

Report to: Finance Manager

Current team size: Pioneer team

Location: Lot 8 & 9, Kawasan Industri Padang Meha, 09400 Padang Serai, Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia

Interview Rounds: 1 round with Finance Manager

Job Summary

This role have to ensure accurate multi-entity accounts, support business decisions through financial analysis, ensure full compliance with MY & SG regulations, and strengthen financial controls.

Responsibiilities:

  1. Manage full set of accounts for Malaysia and Singapore trading entities , including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, journal entries, fixed asset schedules, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  2. Support Malaysia manufacturing finance operations by assisting with manufacturing accounts, costing activities, intercompany reconciliation, and preparation of manufacturing-related schedules.
  3. Handle tax compliance matters including MY SST, SG GST (where applicable), e-Invoice submission, and support MY & SG tax computation processes.
  4. Perform financial analysis and reporting by preparing sales, margin, cost, and profitability analysis to support business decision-making.
  5. Support transfer pricing activities including preparation of intercompany recharge schedules and assisting with transfer pricing documentation.
  6. Manage export documentation and billing processes including preparation of commercial invoices, packing lists, permits, liaising with forwarders, and ensuring accurate tax coding for MY and SG transactions.
  7. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities , including cash flow planning, management reporting, and variance analysis.
  8. Maintain proper financial documentation and internal controls by ensuring accurate filing, compliance with SOPs, and continuous improvement of finance processes.
  9. Liaise with external parties including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks, IRAS, and LHDN on finance-related matters.
  10. Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Manager on manufacturing and trading finance matters, ERP/e-Invoice system implementation, and other company financial activities.

Requirements

  1. Diploma/Degree in Accounting/Finance (ACCA/CPA/LCCI advantage)
  2. Minimum 5 years full set accounting experience
  3. Strong knowledge of MY & SG accounting standards
  4. Familiar with SG GST & MY e-Invoice
  5. Familiar with AP/AR/GL/Bank Reconciliation
  6. Familiar with Export documentation
  7. Strong Excel & accounting software skills
  8. Multi-entity accounting preferred
  9. Trading + manufacturing environment advantage
