Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Executive role based in Johor Baharu.
- Handle full set or partial set of accounts, depending on assigned responsibilities.
- Prepare and process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, schedules, and management accounts.
- Issue invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment vouchers.
- Process supplier payments and follow up on customer collections.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant government authorities.
- Prepare statutory submissions and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in inventory reconciliation and fixed asset management where applicable.
- Support year-end audit and tax filing processes.
- Perform any other accounting or finance-related duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and Malaysian financial regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software (e.g. SQL Accounting, AutoCount, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
