Job Description
- Prepares and produces monthly financial statements in a timely manner for management review.
- Maintains full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepares yearly financial statements and relevant supporting documents for audit purposes, and attends to all audit-related queries.
- Ensures all regular expenses are paid promptly according to the terms stated in contracts or bills.
- Monitors and ensures sales collection and debt recovery are completed within the agreed timeframes.
- Manages all tax compliance matters in accordance with the Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967.
- Handles general administrative duties as required. Guides, coaches, and supports selected associates to contribute to their professional development.
- Undertakes any other tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor or management from time to time.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Malaysian citizen
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in a relevant accounting role, with solid knowledge in handling full set of accounts.
- Proficient in both spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Highly meticulous, responsible, and possesses a positive working attitude.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player who collaborates well across departments.
- Candidates who are available to start IMMEDIATELY will have an added advantage.
