Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to; accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and taxes
  • Ensure proper maintenance of financial and management accounting records.
  • Monitoring the reporting of revenue; coordinating the collection and evaluation of financial data.
  • Maintains accounting controls by defining accounting policies and procedures.
  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Assist in banking matters
  • Assist in preparing the annual budget and expenditures.
  • Coordinating on the financial year end audit to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as and when required.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent team management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Outstanding analytical skills.
