As a Senior Account Manager, you will play a vital role in driving revenue growth by bringing in new clients and contributing to the development of marketing strategies. Your role will entail fostering strong relationships with both new prospects and existing accounts.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to expand existing client portfolios.
- Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and acquire new clients.
- Participate in events, network sessions, and other activities during/outside of regular work hours to generate leads and increase awareness of the company.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external media owners to ensure seamless campaign execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge and deliver innovative solutions.
- Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring all team members are empowered while maintaining oversight of key accounts.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and support to help the team meet their KPIs and sales targets.
- Cultivate a collaborative and positive team culture, driving motivation and accountability.
- Lead proposal creation, negotiations, and deliver impactful presentations to prospective and existing direct clients and agency partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the clients, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on business goals.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and recurring business opportunities.
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years of sales/account management experience in media/advertising industry.
- Familiarity with campaign lifecycle management from briefing, execution, tracking, to reporting.
- Strong understanding of influencer platforms, talent ecosystems, and KOL/creator collaboration workflows.
- Proven track record of retaining and growing client revenue through effective account management.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu) and familiarity with live commerce, influencer marketing, and digital campaign workflows.
- Strong client service and relationship-building skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Proven track record of achieving financial sales targets.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and/or Bahasa.
- Ability to speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suite.
