Job Description

About Us:

We are seeking a dynamic Account Manager fluent in both Mandarin and English languages, to manage and grow relationships with our key clients, particularly in Mandarin-speaking regions. This role will be responsible for driving revenue retention, identifying upsell opportunities, and ensuring client satisfaction while acting as the primary point of contact. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and a proven track record in account management, sales management or human resources management.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main liaison for our clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on business objectives.
  • Conduct regular check-ins (physical meeting, online meeting, calls, emails ) to understand client needs and address concerns proactively.

Revenue Growth & Retention

  • Negotiate contracts, renewals, and pricing adjustments in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue.

Strategic Account Planning

  • Develop account strategies tailored to each client's industry and goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and support teams to deliver solutions that meet client expectations

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track account performance metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Market & Cultural Expertise

  • Leverage knowledge of Mandarin-speaking markets (e.g., Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan) to navigate business practices and build trust.
  • Translate/interpret business discussions when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
  • 3+ years of experience in account management or client-facing roles, preferably from vendor environment.
  • Possess basic knowledge of human resources operations, recruitment lifecycle, and Malaysia's labor laws.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Nice-to-Have:

  1. Experience working with APAC markets.
  2. Technical aptitude (e.g., understanding of software/services your company offers).
