The Role

We're looking for an Account Manager (Media) who is equal parts relationship builder and commercial thinker — someone who can own a client portfolio end-to-end, deliver media solutions with precision, and spot opportunities to grow accounts beyond the initial brief.

This role sits at the intersection of client success and revenue growth. You'll manage the full lifecycle of media client projects, drive renewals, support demand generation, and collaborate with the Revenue Team to develop new products from existing client relationships.

What You'll Do

Client Project Management

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of media client projects, including sponsored articles, content campaigns, social media assets, and website placements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned media clients, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output
  • Coordinate internally across editorial, design, and digital teams to meet client briefs and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate project timelines, status updates, and client documentation

Account Renewals

  • Proactively manage the renewals cycle for media clients, identifying renewal windows and initiating conversations ahead of contract end dates
  • Track account health and flag at-risk clients early; develop retention strategies in partnership with leadership
  • Maintain up-to-date records of contract terms, renewal timelines, and client commitments

Product Ownership

  • Take ownership of specific media products within the e27 suite, ensuring they are well-positioned, consistently delivered, and commercially viable
  • Gather client feedback and translate insights into product improvements or new offering concepts
  • Act as the internal champion for assigned products, representing them clearly to both clients and internal stakeholders

Client Development & New Product Collaboration

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with media clients to deepen engagement and identify whitespace for new solutions
  • Partner with the Revenue Team to co-develop new products or packaging that address unmet client needs
  • Stay close to market trends in media, content marketing, and the SEA tech ecosystem to bring relevant ideas to the table

AI in Account Management

  • Actively participate in e27's AI initiatives for the media and client servicing function; experimenting with tools, proposing workflows, and helping the team work smarter
  • Use AI tools to improve the quality and turnaround of client deliverables — from content briefs and campaign reports to client communications
  • Stay current on emerging technologies relevant to media and content marketing, and bring practical ideas on how they can strengthen our client offering

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of experience in account management, client servicing, or media sales, ideally in a media, publishing, or content environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously without dropping the ball
  • Strong commercial instinct - you understand what clients value and can translate that into revenue opportunities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; you're confident presenting, negotiating, and following through
  • Comfortable working with CRM tools and tracking account activity, pipeline, and performance metrics
  • A genuine interest in AI tools and how they can be applied to client servicing, content workflows, and campaign delivery
  • Self-starter with high ownership - you manage your accounts proactively and don't wait to be told what needs attention
  • Familiarity with the Southeast Asian tech and startup ecosystem is a strong advantage
