As a Sales Account Manager, you will develop and implement the strategic direction for assigned customer accounts on a worldwide basis. This role serves as the primary focal point for pricing strategies, new product development and technology alignment, as well as delivery and quality performance programs, ensuring global customer success while meeting growth and profitability objectives.
Our Team
You will be part of the Global Sales & Marketing organization, working closely with cross-functional internal partners including Global Account Managers, Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, Inside Sales teams, Marketing and Product Marketing Managers, Business Development, Pricing groups, Customer Service, Finance, and Design Engineering. Externally, you will collaborate extensively with customers, distributors, and suppliers to drive aligned execution and long-term business partnerships across global customer sites.
What You Will Do
- Proactively manage and coordinate all new development activities at assigned customer accounts and Molex design centers worldwide, ensuring alignment with customer needs and Molex capabilities.
- Achieve key growth and profitability objectives by managing strategic account plans and executing to defined financial targets.
- Lead and manage all global pricing initiatives by collaborating with multiple entities and divisions on pricing contracts, profit splits, and strategic pricing decisions.
- Oversee and coordinate global customer manufacturing, delivery, and quality performance programs, working with other entities or divisions to support execution and resolve issues as needed.
- Stay current on driving technologies within assigned customer accounts and develop strategies to ensure Molex products and solutions align with and support these evolving technologies.
- Contribute to the development of both annual and long-term business plans to support market share growth and profitability in line with Molex corporate goals.
- Prepare detailed forecast reports and contract analyses, tracking performance against plan and reporting worldwide performance results.
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within the customer's organization.
- Provide direct or indirect leadership and guidance, where applicable, to support account execution and team effectiveness.
- Support additional business priorities and initiatives as assigned by management, including travel as required to customer and Molex sites.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field of study.
- More than 3 years of sales or marketing experience within the connector industry.
- More than 2 years of sales or marketing experience in related industries such as automotive, industrial, medical, or consumer markets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver clear, concise, and effective presentations to both customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proven organizational, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills, with experience managing global customer issues and proficiency in MS Office tools, SAP, Salesforce, and other commercial software applications.

- Previous supervisory or people leadership experience.
