About the Company
Our client is a well-established and rapidly growing real estate and property services group with strong regional presence. In line with their business expansion, they are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead the accounting function, strengthen financial operations, and support business performance across the organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee full spectrum of accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, month-end closing, and financial reporting activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of management accounts, financial statements, and statutory reporting.
- Manage cash flow planning, bank reconciliations, budgeting support, and financial analysis to support business operations.
- Lead and review accounting processes, internal controls, and SOP improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and relevant authorities on statutory and compliance matters.
- Support system and process enhancement initiatives to improve reporting accuracy and operational scalability.
- Monitor team performance, provide guidance to finance staff, and ensure smooth day-to-day finance operations.
- Work closely with management and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and operational support.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA or equivalent) is a huge plus.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within property, real estate, or service-based industries.
- Strong knowledge in full set accounts, financial reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proven experience in process improvement, team management, and accounting system exposure.
- Detail-oriented, hands-on, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, for senior stakeholder management,
Remuneration:
MYR 7,000 – MYR 9,000 (Open to further discussion depending on experience)
