Job Description

JOB DETAILS:

Role: Application Support Specialist

Job Location: Wisma AmFirst, Kelana Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

Role Type: Initial 12 months extendable Contract through Optimum Infosolutions KL, Malaysia

Employer: Optimum Infosolutions, Malaysia

Application Support & Monitoring:

Provide primary support for payment system applications

Aggressively respond to service requests

Manage and coordinate the SIT and UAT with technical, testing team and PayNet in according

to the testing strategy.

Follow-up on findings, keeping track of the issues and rectification, audit and compliances and ensure actions are taken & implemented as required.

Troubleshoot or escalate technical issues, working to provide solutions quickly.

Maintain technical documentation.

Requirement:

Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or any other relevant qualification.

Min 2 years experience working under application development or application support

Knowledge with Linux commands and shell scripting and have working experience with database such as MS-SQL or Oracle or Postgres DB will be an advantage.

Highly self-motivated, dedicated, proactive and versatile. 24X7 commitment is needed

Good interpersonal skills, coordination skills and good problem solving & analytical skills.

Self-motivated, ability to adapt to change in fast[1]paced environment, handle multiple tasks and new technology

Knowledge of the payment ecosystem is a plus.
