Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handling full sets of accounts and preparing management accounts and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant MFRS and group accounting policies
• Lead monthly and year-end financial closing and ensure timely preparation of financial statements, reconciliations and preparation of analysis schedules.
• Manage payment operations within the framework of established procedures and ensure compliance to company policies and approval procedures.
• Liaison with external auditors for annual audit
• Prepare draft audited financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 – 4 years of experience in Accounting Operations such as payments, disbursements, financial statement preparation, project cost control, regulatory and tax
• Experience in Energy sector (Finance and Accounting systems such as Oracle/ or SAP is advantage)
• Good command of English with multinational environment background
