Position: Accountant

Location: Klang, Selangor

Onsite Role.

Key Responsibilities 

·        Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely and accurate manner. 

·        Prepare and monitor cash flow statements and cash flow forecasts. 

·        Collect, analyze, and present financial information to management to support strategic and operational decision-making. 

·        Manage full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets. 

·        Perform product costing, cost accumulation, and inventory valuation activities. 

·        Conduct product margin analysis, breakeven analysis, and profitability studies. 

·        Prepare informative management reports and financial analyses. 

·        Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. 

·        Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. 

·        Support month-end and year-end closing processes. 

·        Utilize ERP systems for financial reporting and accounting operations. 

·        Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities when required. 

Requirements Qualifications 

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification. 

Experience 

·        Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment. 

·        Experience in product costing and management accounting is highly preferred. 

·        Prior exposure to ERP systems is required. 

·        Skills & Competencies 

·        Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cash flow management, and accounting principles. 

·        Familiarity with cost accumulation, product costing, product margin analysis, and breakeven analysis. 

·        Ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights to management. 

·        Good problem-solving and analytical skills. 

·        Strong attention to detail and accuracy. 

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

·        Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin and English to support business operations and stakeholder interactions.
