- Preparation of full set of Financial Statements, conduct analysis and timely reporting to Top Management.
- Overseeing and managing all ongoing financial operations, including but not limited to payment processing, cash flow management, and intercompany transactions
- Handling consolidation accounts and internal control of accounting for a group of companies
- Managing company tax computations and liaising with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, lawyers, government authorities, and suppliers
- Ensuring compliance with local statutory and tax authorities, accounting standards, and relevant laws and acts governing the industry
- Staying up-to-date with changes in tax rules, accounting standards, business and market conditions, etc.
- Supervising and leading the accounting team effectively
- Performing and monitoring daily accounts operations
- Undertaking any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Finance or management from time to time
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Partial qualification of ACCA is welcome to apply too.
- Minimum of 7 years of working experience in the related field
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent knowledge of financial and management reporting, company taxation, and treasury management
- Familiarity with Malaysia's Accounting Standards and other relevant accounting and regulatory requirements
- Consistently accurate with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment or independently
