Job Description:
At
FastLane, we are a licensed company service provider in Hong Kong with an office in Malaysia. We support clients across corporate secretarial, compliance, and advisory matters in multiple jurisdictions. This role offers exposure to both local and cross-border client portfolios within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
We are hiring an experienced Accountant to manage the full set of accounts for Hong Kong clients, utilizing
Xero, Excel, and other cloud-based accounting tools. In this role, you will work closely with overseas clients, support internal finance operations, and supervise junior staff (where applicable).
The role requires an
on-site presence during the initial three-month period (Subject to performance).
This position offers a
hybrid working model, combining remote work with occasional in-office collaboration, and provides opportunities to gain exposure to regional engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full set of accounts for Hong Kong clients in accordance with HKFRS.
- Maintain accurate client financial records using Xero and other cloud-based accounting platforms.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial documentation.
- Generate monthly and annual financial reports, including: Balance sheets, Income statements, Cash flow statements using Xero, Excel, QuickBooks, and other accounting tools.
- Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for business decision-making
- Support internal finance operations, including: Client invoicing, Cash flow forecasting, and Financial tracking
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams on: Accounting projects, Automation initiatives, and Process improvement activities
- Use cloud-based HR systems to manage client employee records and support HR-related processes
- Supervise and review junior staff's work, ensuring accuracy, quality control, and timely delivery.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following:
- Professional diploma or degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Hands-on experience handling Hong Kong-based clients (strongly preferred)
- Xero Accounting Software experience is mandatory
- Strong proficiency in Excel for financial statement preparation
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and spoken English. (Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus)
