The Accountant will support the Finance Department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance for SEA-based entities under the portfolio. The role will work closely with the Operations Controller (SEA) to support smooth financial operations and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL entries, bank reconciliations and month-end closing

• Support monthly group reporting and ensure timely submission

• Handle AR matters (invoicing and receipt tracking)

• Support intercompany transactions including invoicing and recharges

• Assist in preparation and review of GST/VAT/WHT submissions

• Support statutory audits and liaise with auditors where required

• Assist in ensuring statutory compliance (audit, tax, annual filings)

• Support project accounting and preparation of monthly project reports

• Assist in issuance/renewal documentation for SBLC and bank guarantees

• Any other finance-related duties assigned

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in accounting / commerce / ACCA
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance-related role. Experience in External Audit would be an added advantage.
  • SAP S4 Hana proficient
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and external stakeholders.
