Your primary role is to assist the head of department for the day to day Accounting and Finance operation of the Malaysia entities, as well as ensuring timely preparation of monthly financial package and year-end Financial audit.

About the Role
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Accounting Functions
- Manage full-set accounts and ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing to ensure financial statements are ready on time.
- Coordinate with auditors and tax agents for smooth statutory compliance.
2. Cash Flow Management
- Monitor daily cash flow and prepare forecasts.
- Manage AR/AP cycles to optimize payments, collections, and working capital.
- Perform bank reconciliations and track all treasury activities.
3. System Management
- Maintain the accounting system (ERP) to ensure data integrity and smooth daily operations.
- Improve workflows by identifying ways to automate manual tasks within the system.
- Troubleshoot system issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) will be an added advantage.
- At least 4 to 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity or position, preferably with 2 years of audit experience.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Malaysia tax regulations and accounting standards.
- In-depth knowledge of computer applications (MS Office, ERP system etc.).
- Experience working with Accounting systems.
- Meticulous, organized and has an eye for details.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- A team player with strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
- Experience working with Accounting systems.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
