Position title: Accounting and Finance Manager/ Senior Manager
Salary range: RM7,000 to RM10,000
Job Scope:
- To manage full spectrum of accounting functions and ensure timely delivery of financial accounting and reporting, including monthly management accounts and quarterly financial reporting
- To perform group consolidation and intercompany reconciliations
- To oversee the annual statutory audit process and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and financial reporting requirements
- To handle tax-related matters, including SST, withholding tax (WHT), and e-Invoicing compliance, and ensure timely submissions to the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) and other relevant authorities.
- To prepare budgets, financial forecasts, cash flow projections, and management reports to support business decision-making
- To monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure effective liquidity management
- To manage banking transactions and payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and proper authorisation controls
- To ensure compliance with the Securities Commission Licensing Handbook and other applicable regulatory requirements
- To liaise with external parties i.e. auditor, tax agents, company secretary pertaining to audit, tax and statutory matters
- To oversee and support administrative and human resource functions to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations, as and when required
- To support delivery of business process outsourcing (BPO) services to external clients, including bookkeeping, management reporting and etc
- To review and improve accounting processes, internal controls and financial procedures where necessary
- To assist in any other ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by management
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting/ Finance, or professional qualification such as LCCI, ACCA, CPA, MIA certification or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in accounting, finance or related fields
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial reporting requirements
- Good command of spoken and written English (proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia or other languages is an added advantage)
- Independent, proactive with positive and hands-on attitude, able to meet tight timeline in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office application
- Willing to travel when required
