Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant Trainee located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Accounting Intern will assist in financial reporting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks, including account reconciliations, data entry, and preparation of financial statements. They will support the accounts payable/receivable process and assist with monthly and year-end closing procedures. Additionally, the Accountant Trainee will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding in bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and account reconciliation
• Basic understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Competence in tools and software for financial data entry, including accounting systems
• Good analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance requirements
• Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or pursuing)
