Accounting Intern

Tenbex Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (TESB), established in 2004, specializes in providing maintenance services and the supply of specialized materials and products for onshore and offshore facilities in Malaysia. With offices across the country, including Kuala Lumpur, Alor Setar, Labuan, and Miri, along with a workshop in Bintulu, TESB is a licensed service contractor/vendor by PETRONAS and serves major oil companies such as PETRONAS, Murphy, Repsol, Shell, and Exxon Mobil. This is an internship role for an Accounting Intern based on-site at our Bandar Baru Bangi location. The Accounting Intern will assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry, managing invoices, processing financial transactions, and maintaining accounting records. Additional responsibilities may include preparing financial reports, assisting with audits, and supporting the team with general administrative tasks related to the accounting department.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling numerical data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a team-based environment
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Relevant experience, such as coursework or prior internships, is a plus but not required
