About the Role
Our client is seeking a Manager / Principal to focus on the vertical delivery of services across a diverse client portfolio. This role oversees the end-to-end financial reporting lifecycle, including monthly closing, management reporting, and budget analysis. This is an autonomous position that offers a platform to apply the latest technology and process improvements while delivering strategic value.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio Ownership: Take full responsibility for the financial accounts of multiple client entities and geographies.
- Financial Management: Handle balance sheet bookings, accrual-based accounting, and bank reconciliations.
- Operational Oversight: Manage accounts payables/receivables, payroll coordination, and monthly close processes.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, manage quarterly GST filings, and prepare unaudited financial statements.
- Advisory Lead: Act as the trusted finance lead in client meetings, providing cashflow projections and supporting investor reporting.
- Process Innovation: Identify opportunities to deploy AI-assisted workflows and automate repetitive workstreams.
Qualifications
- Professional Qualifications: Must be a Chartered Accountant (Singapore CA/CPA), ACCA, or hold an equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Client Accounting, Transaction Advisory, Audit, or an in-house finance role.
- Technical Skills: Meticulous with numbers and comfortable with cloud-based accounting software.
- Mindset: Proactive and independent with a high degree of agency; essentially an entrepreneurial accountant turned operator.
- Bonus Skills: Experience in high-growth startup environments or a background in mentoring team members.
